Riverbend Market Cooperative grew out of a community-based discussion focused on the importance of developing a sustainable food system that brought together local producers and consumers who shared similar values. Out of this discussion grew a core group of volunteers who set out to build a food cooperative that would serve as a marketplace for local growers and producers as well as a regional center for sustainability.
